| Rachel Adams, Missy Harpenau and Rachel Krabacher were all named to the 2007-2008 AVCA All American Honors. What an accomplishment! Only 3 states have more All Americans than our club this year. |

| By now you all know but our very own Missy Harpenau won the Prepvolleyball.com 2007 Schelde National Player of the Year for her performance with the Mercy Bobcats. - From Prepvolleyball.com A skilled club player for a long time who followed in the footsteps of older sister, Lauren, Missy Harpenau’s profile took a huge leap forward at the Junior Olympic National Championships in July, where the attacker led Team Z to the 17 Open title. Harp, playing with a strained quadriceps muscle from a waterslide incident, attacked with efficiency and intelligence and defended with abandon. She was everywhere and a most deserving choice for MVP. When Harvey nominated Harpenau for Schelde National Player of the Year, she likened her senior’s impact on the dog-eat-dog GGCL to that of Kehoe, the 2003 National Player of the Year who set Cincinnati St. Ursula to a mythical national title that year and Stanford to an NCAA championship one year later as a freshman in Palo Alto. |
